The first edition of the highly popular collaboration, "The Apothecary Diaries x JR Central : Journey to Nara," continues with the second edition featuring Jinshi! Join Maomao and Jinshi on a journey to enjoy the elegance of Kyoto.
Please look forward to a special time spent with the two of them on the Shinkansen and in the city of Kyoto.
Maomao, who was ordered to investigate the rumored elixir of immortality said to be found in a country to the east, set out on a journey to Nara.

Although she ultimately could not find the secret medicine, the emperor, intrigued by Maomao's report and the items she brought back, commanded a more detailed investigation into the culture and life of the eastern country to aid in the development of the region.

This time, the investigation site is the former capital near Nara. Maomao and Jinshi embark on a journey to Kyoto together.

*If you achieve a perfect score in the certification exam for Volume 1, you will be able to enjoy the certification exam for Volume 2. Each time you achieve a perfect score in the certification exam for a volume, the next volume will be unlocked.
*The certification exam for the unlocked volume can be attempted as many times as you like while you are on the Shinkansen.
*There are two types of voices set for each volume. There is a voice that can be heard with a perfect score and another that can be heard with a certain score, so be sure to look for them.
*The certification exam for Volume 5 will be added starting April 25, 2025.

We offer two courses: the Maomao Course and the Jinshi Course.
You can leisurely enjoy both courses in parallel according to your schedule, or simply enjoy one of the courses.
At common spots of these two courses, you can enjoy the dialogue voices of Maomao and Jinshi.
*For the Maomao Course, you can earn stamps at either TAMANOHIKARI Sake Brewing or at Junmai Sakekasu TAMANOHIKARI / at either Ueba Esou or Kazurasei Gion Main Store.
Different voices are prepared at each location, so enjoy a carefree journey with Maomao at your own pace!
